Role Summary
This varied role is suitable for a Marketing Executive with prior experience in implementing – or assisting with implementing – a variety of marketing campaigns.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, as is accuracy, attention to detail, and organisation.
Responsibilities:
Assisting with the effective distribution of marketing materials across a range of channels. This includes:
Working closely with the in-house Senior Content Editor, and Lumin’s inhouse Data Team, to coordinate regular ‘emailer’ communications to prospects and clients
Working closely with colleagues to assist with coordinating marketing leads and follow-ups
Working alongside the Senior Content Editor to assist with the delivery/implementation of Lumin’s flagship ‘lumin news’ quarterly publication
Assisting with the ‘proofing’ of finalised editorial content
Ad hoc marketing distribution
Assisting the data team with the management/upkeep of mailing lists
Assisting the Events and Marketing Coordinator and Senior Content Editor with the implementation of events, including seminars and webinars
Communicating with target audiences and building and developing customer relationships.
Tracking the performance of ‘emailer’ campaigns and preparing reports for management
Assisting with the implementation of other ad hoc promotional activities, research, and marketing-related tasks, including content production across different channels
Required Experience:
Degree (minimum 2:1) in a relevant/related field
Previous marketing experience within professional services
Experience of email marketing platforms (Mailchimp or similar)
Previous experience handling data
An ability to plan ahead and manage own workload
An understanding of business and marketing concepts
Experience using PowerPoint, Microsoft Word and Excel
An understanding of GDPR requirements/client data compliance
Desirable Experience
Excellent content writing skills and proofreading experience
An understanding of content management systems/data management platforms and market research techniques
Experience managing or contributing to social media accounts
Experience implementing events such as seminars

An ability to work collaboratively with a range of colleagues, including senior figures. A team player, but with the ability to work independently and show initiative
Strong customer-facing skills and the ability to interact effectively with customers/colleagues via excellent written/verbal communication
Proactive and enthusiastic, and ability to show initiative on creative tasks
Excellent attention to detail, and highly organised
Location: London, Farringdon ( 1 day a week St Albans)
Fulltime: (37.5 hours) onsite/flexible working
