To further accelerate the growth of the business, Ascendant is looking for a motivated Operations Administrator to join the Team. As part of a Global Operations Team, you are responsible for the timely transmission of international payments and client system administration, supporting the UK and North American business.

Main Role responsibilities
• Process customer payments in a timely manner through various banks and counterparties
• Update internal systems for customer management and payment templates
• Monitoring various support inboxes
• Verifying payment information with clients via phone or email
• Dealing with payment and settlement queries with customers
• Dealing with under / over payments
• Review outstanding and unpaid transactions
• Perform electronic filing and related client file management activities
• Understand and follow all relevant company policy and procedures
• Perform bank reconciliation and posting of Client transactions
• Provide support to UK Dealing with deal requests in times of absence
• Support the Global Operations Team to achieve shared goals
• Continuously evaluate and propose improvements in business processes
• When needed, support with reasonable other activities to support the functioning of the business

• Strong with multiple computer systems and platform including MS Office Suite knowledge
• The ability to work from home and office
• Previous relevant experience in a payments role / financial services environment
• Previous cross border payments experience would be an asset
• Foreign exchange or banking settlements experience would be an asset
• Focused on team and success of the business
• Ability to assimilate and apply new job-related information in a timely manner
