Peterborough Town CC to Host England Cricket Legends

Summer is a great time of the year to enjoy the fine weather on offer to entertain new and existing clients and to reward staff, and what better way than to attend a cricket match which will feature 11 former England International Cricketers!
On Friday 28 July, Peterborough Town Cricket Club are hosting the PCA Masters (Professional Cricketers Association) who’s teams visit clubs up and down the country to play showcase matches designed to allow the clubs to fundraise for projects helping them to improve their facilities for the benefit of all of their members.
The club is also fundraising for Great Ormond Street Hospital as it’s nominated charity for the day.
The match is free for all spectators so if you want to come along and see some of England’s best ever cricketers in action in a T20 match vs one of the countries most successful recreational clubs, come down on the day.
The club is also hosting a pre-match dinner at which starts at midday which is a perfect environment for businesses to host their clients and reward staff, while being entertained by PCA Masters host and former England Cricketer Ed Giddins, and being introduced to the all-star line up of former England Cricketers who will take on the Peterborough Town CC XI in a fast paced T20 match after lunch.
On arrival guests at the dinner will enjoy some Fizz or Orange juice together with canapés, followed by a three course lunch with four bottles of wine and a bucket of beers per table to share and enjoy, there’s also an opportunity to host one of England Cricketers on your table to really make a day to remember for you and your guests.
Parking is free for all guests at the dinner and you’ll receive a match-day programme too.
The schedule for the day is:
- Arrivals from 12pm
- Lunch served 1pm
- Coin toss 3.30pm
- Match Starts 4pm
Tables start from £995 plus VAT for 10 people, if you can’t fill a whole table the club will be happy to provide you with a price for the number of places you need.
