Cambridgeshire Chamber of Commerce is delighted to announce the appointment of Harvey Bibby as its new Vice Chair, strengthening the organisation’s leadership team as it continues its mission to support businesses, champion economic growth, and create opportunities across the region.
Harvey brings more than 25 years of experience in the development, investment, and management of commercial real estate. As Marketing & Development Director at Grovemere Property Limited, he has built an outstanding reputation for delivering strategic growth, fostering partnerships, and supporting thriving business communities. He is also a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
A passionate advocate for business growth and economic development, Harvey has dedicated much of his career to helping businesses achieve their ambitions. His extensive experience in strategic planning, marketing, investment, and place-making has enabled him to work collaboratively with organisations across the region to unlock growth opportunities for businesses and communities alike.
Harvey has played a significant role in the success of the Lancaster Way Business Park Enterprise Zone as a member of its Project Board, where he has helped shape the strategic direction of the development. During the past decade, the Enterprise Zone has supported the creation of more than 1,000 jobs, making a significant contribution to the local economy and demonstrating Harvey’s commitment to long-term, sustainable growth.
Alongside his professional career, Harvey is deeply committed to supporting the local community and developing future talent. He volunteers as an Enterprise Adviser, mentoring local sixth form students and helping inspire the next generation while ensuring the region continues to develop the skilled workforce local businesses need. He also serves as a Trustee of the RAF Witchford and Mepal Exhibition charity, preserving and promoting the area’s rich heritage.
As Vice Chair, Harvey will work closely with the Chamber’s Chair, Faye Holland, to help deliver on the boards strategic direction, ensuring the organisation continues to provide a strong voice for businesses and practical support that enables them to succeed.
Harvey has been an active supporter of the Chamber for many years and is passionate about creating an environment where businesses of all sizes can thrive with confidence. He believes collaboration between businesses, education providers and local stakeholders is key to building a resilient and prosperous economy and is committed to helping the Chamber strengthen its role as a trusted partner for the business community.
