Drivers, Engineers and members of the Presentation and Support teams at Stagecoach’s depots in Cambridge and Fenstanton, along with colleagues from around the region, have embarked on a major health and wellbeing challenge – to walk the equivalent of Lands’ End to John O’Groats.
The intrepid bus professionals have taken on the challenge, which will see them walk a combined 2,000,000 extra steps, or 874 extra miles, throughout May. The distances are being logged and reported to each depot’s Health and Wellbeing Champion.
Prizes are being offered: the person who racks up the most steps in each depot will win a £50 voucher. Moreover, to give even more motivation, £250 will be donated to the best performing depot’s chosen charity.
